Dev log: Omnicorp Day 1

What is Omnicorp

1. A reference to a The Onion headline from like 1995: “All corporations agree to merge into Omnicorp”

2. A new stock trading game I’m thinking about that should hopefully scratch an itch I’ve had since playing the first beta of Cookie Clicker (yes this version, and yes I accidentally started playing it after grabbing the link), the little stock applet in Universal Paperclips, and, most recently, the early access city-pop era styled Stonks 9800.

Ok but really…?

It’s supposed to be a relatively faithful stock simulation base with a little more information from the market from the news ticker system that is basically lifted from Cookie Clicker /Anti-matter Dimensions / pretty much every satirical incremental that needs to fill some space in the UI.
